[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ain and snow couldn’t dampen the chemistry between these two last Monday evening. Down to earth with a ton of class is my favourite way to describe Adam and Sarah. So beautifully suited for each other, I am hit with how much they are in love as we start chatting. Adam’s adoring gaze towards Sarah is matched by the protective way he pulls her in close to keep her warm. Sarah casually talks about their day as she snuggles into Adam’s arms, warming herself against the bitter wind wiping around her.
Sarah has just finished her undergrad and has been living hours apart from Adam all year. I can sense the relief from both of them that this difficult season of being apart is ending. They both talk about their upcoming wedding this August and Sarah’s plans to continue education this fall. Since Fynn and I married while he was still in school, I instantly feel a connection with them. I tell them it was the best decision we could have made and how connected we became going through the tough years together. Their eyes lit up and they quickly agreed that they felt the same way.
The evening slips by on us as we chat and move around the stunning property of the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority. As the cloud covered sun slowly fades away on us, they mention their evening plans of warm blankets and tea; the most perfect way to end their night! Congratulations on your engagement Adam and Sarah!!
